Low-cost flights to South Korea's Daegu launched

On Thursday, the low-cost carrier VietJet launched its direct flights connecting Da Nang and South Korea’s Daegu. The new route will benefit travellers in Viet Nam and the Republic of Korea, as well as boost trade activities between the two localities, and enhance the city’s global integration.

The round-trip flights between the two cities take around 4 hours and 15 minutes.

The flight will depart from Da Nang at 0.15am, and arrive in Daegu at 6.30am (local time), whilst the return flight will take off at 7.30am (local time) from Daegu, and land in Da Nang at 10.00 am.

Currently, Vietjet operates 60 A320 and A321 aircrafts with more than 380 flights daily, carrying a total of more than 60 million air passengers to date.

In addition, the low-cost airline is implementing a total of 93 routes covering destinations in Viet Nam, and such international destinations as Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, China, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, Malaysia and Cambodia.                                                                                                                                                 

Vietjet is planning to expand its network across Asia-Pacific region.
