The Kawasaki-Biere Larue Viet Nam International Series 2014 badminton tournament will be held at the Tien Son Sports Arena from 1 - 5 October.  The event, the first of its kind in Da Nang, is being co-organised by the Viet Nam Badminton Federation, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Da Nang Badminton Federation.

The tournament has already attracted over 260 entrants from 9 countries and territories around the world, including Malaysia, Taiwan, Sweden, Indonesia, Thailand, and Japan.  Viet Nam has the largest number of players with 91, followed by Malaysia with 68 and Taiwan with 38.  This year's total prize value will be 5,000 USD as per the regulations of the Badminton World Federation for an International-level competition.
