Exhibition showcasing resistance war sketches runs until 10 Aug

An exhibition featuring a total of 40 versions of famous sketches of the battlefields in the central and Central Highlands regions is running until 10 August at the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum, 78 Le Duan.

Jointly organised by the fine arts museums of Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City, the exhibition aimed to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (27 July).

Also, the event aims at inspiring the general public to learn more about the visual arts of sketching.
The displayed arts works were created by the late artists of Hoang Son, Pham Van Tam, Tran Viet Son, Bay Tra, and such living painters as Pham Hong, Quach Phong and Pham Mui.

The visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to gain deeper insight into the wartime hardship as well as the undaunted courage and indomitable fighting spirit of Vietnamese revolutionary soldiers and residents during the struggle for the cause of national liberation, hereby educating the young generations about the ardent patriotism.
