Da Nang nature, people introduced to tourists

Da Nang-based Duy Tan University, in coordination with Hai Chau District People's Committee and the Da Nang Art Photography Association, recently organised the 7th Go See Do Da Nang photo exhibition with the theme “Hidden Treasures” at the APEC Park.

On display at the exhibition were 70 excellent works created 46 photographers, and all of them were selected from the 7th annual Go See Do DaNang travel photo contest launched by the Duy Tan University.

This contest was an activity that honoured the beauty and the attractiveness of the city through the lens of professional and amateur photographers.

With the contest, the organisers wanted to bring new perspectives about the city to the public and helped visitors explore the city's hidden treasures through the natural beauty and people of Da Nang.

After the selection process, in addition to the 70 photos displayed at the exhibition, the organizing committee awarded 14 awards to the best authors in the professional and amateur categories.

In the professional category, one first prize worth VND10 million was awarded to the work ‘Surfing on My Khe Beach’ by Tran Minh Tri, whilst one second, one third and 5 consolation prizes were given out to the other contestants.

In the amateur category, the ‘Friendly’ by Ngo Trong Hiep received the first prize worth VND 3 million whilst one second and three third prizes went to other  outstanding works.
