Last year, the Da Nang Department of Education and Training spent a total of 355 billion VND on upgrading facilities at 85 local shools at all levels, an increase of 2.3% against 2016.

Over the past year, universal pre-school education programmes for local 5-year-olds continued implementing in all communes and wards across the city.  In addition, all primary school pupils were offered English courses, with 4 sessions per week.

Furthermore, physical education programme suitable for pupils’ strengh was implemented on a pilot basis at junior and senior high schools.
