The Hai Chau District’s People’s Committee in Da Nang recently announced a list of its 10 environmentally-friendly wards.

A prosperous corner of the district

The honoured wards are Hai Chau 1, Hai Chau 2, Thach Thang, Thuan Phuoc, Binh Hien, Binh Thuan, Nam Duong, Hoa Thuan Dong, Hoa Thuan Tay and Hoa Cuong Nam.

The remaining wards of the district, namely Phuoc Ninh, Thanh Binh and Hoa Cuong Bac, have been recognised as ‘beautiful, clean and green wards”.

Hai Chau, a first-grade administrative unit, is the first district in the city to have developed criteria for the ‘environmental-friendly wards’ title.
