Following recent instructions from the Da Nang People’s Committee, the dragon’s head at the eastern end of the Rong Bridge will not breathe fire and squirt water from its mouth on the 5 night fireworks shows - 30 April, 26 May, 2 June, 9 June, and 30 June.

The city’s decision aims to ensure traffic safety and ease traffic congestion, especially at the bridge area, during the forthcoming Da Nang International Fireworks Festival.

The municipal Department of Information and Communications will join efforts with the Da Nang Radio and Television (DRT) channels, plus the DA NANG and Cong An (Police) newspapers, to widely publicise the above-mentioned announcement to local residents and visitors to the city.
