1st Da Nang Open Cycling Race for Asanzo Cup

The race is expected to attract around 220 domestic and foreign cyclists.  The contestants will compete in 40km-individual and 30km-group categories in 2 age groups - 18-44 and the over 40s. 

The race circuit will be from the East Sea Park along Vo Nguyen Giap and Hoang Sa streets, and then returning to the start point.

The race will officially begin with a 50m-wheelchair race entitled ‘Overcoming by Themselves’ for 10 local AO-affected children.

Street parade of live music and dancing

Evergreen Farmers’ Market Fair

Organised by the company Evergreen Labs, the fair will introduce local customers to high-quality organic agricultural products.  Included will be forest honey, melaleuca oil, natural cosmetics, food, recycled bags, and handmade items.

The fair will provide a chance for sellers and buyers to exchange experiences and gain useful information about organic and safe food processing and production.

‘Five Elements Food Space’ programme

This magnificent culinary space, with 5 open kitchens representing the 5 elements of ancient oriental philosophy, will offer up to 500 national and international dishes in total.  Throughout the programme, there will be arts performances, cooking classes, and exciting eating minigames.  The show will be hosted by Pham Tuan Hai who is a culinary expert, a passionate chef, and a Masterchef Viet Nam judge.  Also, visitors will get the opportunity to meet with international chefs to gain an insight into delicious dishes from their countries, and to join in cooking contests.

‘Charming Da Nang’ musical programme

This 60-minute programme opens with a stage presentation highlighting the city’s most impressive sites such as the Da Nang International Airport, the Han River and the tall buildings.  It is followed by delightful performances of singing, dancing and traditional Vietnamese musical instruments, each of them showcasing the culture and beauty of Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole.  Interestingly, there is a song named ‘Charming Da Nang’ which was written specifically for this programme.
