Starting from 1 July, the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will officially operate new direct flights from Da Nang to Seoul and Siem Reap.

In detail, the airlines will operate 3 Da Nang – Seoul flights per week (Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays) utilising an Airbus A321.  The flights from Da Nang will depart at 0:05am and arrive in Seoul at 4:05am local time.  The return flights will depart at 9:30am local time in Seoul and arrive back into Da Nang at around 2:30pm.

On its Da Nang–Siem Reap route, the airline will operate a daily flight using an ART-72.  The 2 hour 25 minutes flight will depart from Da Nang at 2:10pm and return from Siem Reap at 5:15pm local time.

To mark these openings, the airline is offering a 50% discount on any tickets bought in Viet Nam on these new routes between now and 31 December for journeys between 1 July and 31 December 2013.  As a result, the one-way ticket prices for the Da Nang-Seoul route will be 5,940,000 VND and 1,738,000 VND for the Da Nang-Siem Reap route.  These fares do not include taxes and related charges.

The 2 new routes will bring the airline’s total routes to 90, with 21 domestic and 28 international destinations.
