3.89 million USD for enhancing export competitiveness of SMEs
A programme entitled “Improving Export Competitiveness of Viet Nam’s Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) through a Local Trade Promotion System” in the central region and the highlands was started in Da Nang on Tuesday. It is being co-hosted by the city’s Trade Promotion Agency and the Department of Industry and Trade.
The programme aims to enhance export competitiveness of Vietnamese SMEs in order to increase the country’s export turnover as well as develop its key export items through the national trade promotion system.
Funded by the Swiss Government, the programme will run for 4 years at a cost of 3.89 million USD. It will give top priority to some cities and provinces nationwide, and these localities will be selected based on their trade promotion effectiveness, as well as their sustainable export potential.
