The Management Board of the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park has recently granted an investment licence to the Niwa Foundry project.  Developed by Niwa Foundry Company and Mr Dai Niwa from Japan, the 21.87 million USD project will cover an area of 1.98ha at the park.  Once operational, the project will manufacture moulded materials which will be used in hydraulic components and high-precision parts.

The 1st stage of the project is expected to be completed by 2016, with an initial capacity of 2.4 million products per year.

The Niwa Foundry is the 2nd FDI project to invest in the Park.  The first one was Japan’s Tokyo Keiki Precision Technology project, worth 40 million USD, which manufactures electromagnetic switching valves and high-pressure pumps.  It received its investment licence in 2012.
