Viet Nam Tokai inaugurates auto parts manufacturing plant
The Viet Nam Tokai company, a subsidiary of Japan's Tokai Kogyo Group, recently inaugurated its auto parts manufacturing plant in Da Nang’s Hoa Cam Industrial Park.
Addressing the event, the municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman, Mr Phung Tan Viet, remarked that the new plant would make a significant contribution to the city’s industrial production value, and further promote the development of Viet Nam's young automobile industry. He also pledged that the local authorities would create very favourable conditions for the plant to operate effectively in the city.

The new plant, the third of its kind in Southeast Asia after others in Thailand and Indonesia, has been built on an area of 47,000m2 at a cost of 10 million USD.
The plant will manufacture plastic and rubber parts, along with electronics equipment, for Japan’s top carmakers such as Honda, Toyota, and Nissan plus others in Southeast Asia. Most notably, the plant will provide job opportunities for 200 people.
