City leader pledges to create most favourable conditions for TCIE

During his visit to the TCIE Vietnam Company on Tuesday, the Da Nang People's Council Chairman, Mr Tran Tho, vowed that the local authorities would create the most favourable conditions possible for the company to put its 2nd stage into operation as soon as possible.

In addition, the city leader asked the TCIE to strictly comply with the city’s regulations on environmental protection and ensuring workplace safety, as well as to create more jobs for locals and provide suitable vocational training courses for them.  He added that the company should report any difficulties it faces during its construction phase to the local authorities and relevant agencies for prompt handling.

TCIE’s Deputy General Director, Mr Nguyen Dinh Thuan, said that the 40 million USD 1st stage of his company’s automobile factory is built on an area of 129,500m2 at the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park. 

Currently, the factory has 250 employees and an annual production capacity of 5,000 vehicles.  It is now assembling Nissan Sunny cars, which are being manufactured in accordance with the strict requirements of Japan’s Nissan Motor Company.
