Tax collection and traffic accident reduction urged to accelerate
At a recent meeting with leaders of Da Nang’s relevant agencies and departments, the municipal People’s Committee Chairman, Mr Van Huu Chien, said that the focus should be on speeding up the collection of corporate, income, housing and land use taxes. They were asked to widely publicise to local residents the city’s preferential policy for early repayments.
To deal with the increase in road traffic accidents across the city, Chairman Chien instructed the Department of Transport to work closely with the local police to encourage local road users to use the correct lanes in order to reduce the number of fatal traffic accidents.
