City leader visits company for Entrepreneurs' Day

During his visit on Tuesday to the 29 March Textiles and Garments Company, the Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman, Mr Vo Duy Khuong, extended his best wishes to the company’s leaders and employees on the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs’ Day (13 October).

Vice Chairman Khuong expressed his delight at the company’s significant achievements during 2012 and the first 9 months of 2013.  He also announced that, following a recent decision by the local authorities, the company would not be relocating.

The city leader said he hoped that the company would continue its efforts and help the city to progress.  He noted that their focus should be on stabilising production, developing new products, and continuing to improve both quality and competitiveness.   He also stressed the need for the company to fulfil its obiligations, as well as to become actively involved in environmental protection and ensuring social welfare. 

In 2012, the company earned around 333 billion VND, and that is expected to have reached 400 billion VND in 2013.  The company has installed European technology suit production lines with an annual capacity of 200,000 units.  These export products are highly appreciated by the company’s clients for their interesting designs and good quality.  The company’s employees earn an average monthly income of 5.7 million VND.
