Vietnamese goods fair opens
In response to the “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” campaign, the 2013 Vietnamese Goods Fair is being held at Da Nang’s 29 March Park between 13 and 16 October.
This year’s event features 130 stands of 95 businesses from Da Nang, Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City, along with the provinces of Thai Binh, Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Binh Duong, Binh Thuan and Kien Giang.
During the 4-day event, the participating businesses are showcasing a number of products including food, drinks, consumer goods, textiles and garments, fashion bags, footwear, handicrafts and ceramic items.
A programme entitled “Dialogues between businesses and their consumers” and a discussion on “Solutions to bring Vietnamese goods to domestic customers” will be held during the fair period. In addition, musical performances will entertain the fair’s visitors each evening.
Admission is free and the fair is open daily from 8am until 10pm.
