A bilateral cooperation agreement between Da Nang and Quang Ngai Province was signed on Wednesday morning.

Under the agreement, Da Nang will help the province to create plans for its information technology (IT) development over the 2013 - 2015 period with a vision to 2020, as well as design master plans to promote the application and development of its information and communication technology (ICT).  The purpose is to turn ICT into the key driving force in promoting the province’s socio-economic development.

Da Nang will share its experiences in such aspects as IT development and applications, and the construction, operation and management of software and dedicated IT parks.

Top priority will be given to helping Quang Ngai to conduct research and develop plans for investment in, and the operation and management of, dedicated IT parks.
