Numerous planned projects cancelled

The Da Nang authorities recently announced the cancellation of some planning projects across the city.

In Thanh Khe District, the cancelled projects are the B1.2 resettlement area located in Thanh Khe Tay Ward, the Hoa Khe pre-school, and the An Hoa Garments Enterprise’s residential area.

In Son Tra District, projects cancelled are the upgrading of Pho Duc Chinh Street, a road on the northern side of the Phan Ba Phien residential area, the Ha Thi Than extended road, the Le Huu Trac Street, and its alley No 59.

As for Ngu Hanh Son District, the roads connecting Duong Thi Xuan Quy and Truong Sa streets, Duong Tu Quan with Phan Tu streets, and An Thuong 14 and Ton That Thiep streets, plus the extended road linking Duong Thi Xuan Quy Street with a street in the Bac My An residential area, are all cancelled.

Also cancelled in the district are the Yersin extended road and the planned land-use along it which was part of a new residential area project on the southern side of the Tien Son Bridge.

In addition, plans for a public area, a new road and resettlement land lots in a residential area on the southern side of Nguyen Van Thoai Street have been cancelled.

In Cam Le District, planned land-use which was part of the Phuoc Tuong urban area has already been cancelled.

Those cancelled in Lien Chieu District are the cultural house in Hoa Hiep Bac Ward, the Quang Thanh 3 housing area, planned land-use along DT 602 Street, the Khanh Son 1 extended resettlement area, and the expansion of the Tan Cuong Thanh Electric Wire and Cable Company.

In Hoa Vang District, the cancelled projects are the Fish Sauce Village in Hoa Lien Commune, the 241.57ha industrial park and resettlement area in Hoa Khuong Commune, and a 21.8 ha extension of the Giang Nam 2 area.

In addition, planning schemes for 37.7ha of agricultural land in Quang Chau and Phong Nam villages and a planned land-use area on the western side of the Hoa Phuoc Traffic Police station have already been cancelled.
