Speaking at the event, the municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman, Mr Phung Tan Viet, remarked that Da Nang is expected to become part of the Indochina Development Triangle and an important gateway, as well as a dynamic drive, to the economic development of the central region and highlands.
The city leader said he hopes that the Korean experts will contribute more opinions and recommendations to improve the development of the local IP. He also took the opportunity to appeal for businesses from South Korea to invest in the Hi-tech IP in order to develop Da Nang into an eco-city with sustainable economic development.
Prof Kim Donyun from the Sungkyun Kwan University stressed the need for Da Nang’s Hi-tech Park to create a very favourable working environment to attract more intellectuals. He also remarked that the city should give top priority to developing qualified human resources, and promoting the development of science and technology. Special attention should also be paid to making the Hi-tech IP a venue for working, entertainment and living.
