Rattan and bamboo handicrafts exported to Japan
The Bao Trung Handicraft Product Export Cooperative has won the trust of customers in Japan. After its first 370,000 USD export batch to Japan in late 2012, the cooperative has since received a large number of orders from that country. As a result, about 3 containers of rattan and bamboo handicrafts are exported every month.
In an effort to meet the rise in orders, the Bao Trung Cooperative has built an operations office, a factory, a warehouse, and a yard on an area of about 1ha in Hoa Nhon Commune’s Thach Nham Dong Village in Hoa Vang District.
