Sales fairs bring Vietnamese goods to rural areas
As part of the National Trade Promotion Programme and Da Nang’s month for boosting the consumption of Vietnamese goods, two sales fairs were recently organised in Hoa Lien and Hoa Tien communes in Hoa Vang District.
The events saw the participation of many domestic businesses who were offering a wide range of products to meet the varied demands of the rural residents. Products included household appliances, processed food, mushrooms, bottled water, fashionable clothes, helmets, cosmetics and wine.

Most notably, the participating businesses offered their customers up to 50% discount on their products. In addition, customers had the opportunity to enter a lucky draw, enjoy free trials of the products, as well as receive numerous attractive gifts with purchases of the discounted products.
In an attempt to meet the increasing shopping demands of rural residents in the days leading up to the Tet Festival, Co.op Mart will organise 4 sales fairs in the city between 8 and 25 January. These fairs will take place at Son Tra District’s Tho Quang Industrial Park from 8 to 10 January, Lien Chieu District’s Hoa Khanh Industrial Park between 13 and 15 January, Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Phu Commune on 21 and 22 January, and Hoa Bac Commune on 24 and 25 January. Co.op Mart’s Vietnamese goods will be sold under the local market price stabilisation programme.
