Spring Fair being held from 16 - 22 January
The 2014 Spring Fair is being held at the Da Nang International Exhibition Fair Centre at 9 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street between 16 and 22 January. The fair is one of the trade promotion events held annually in the city and its purpose is to meet the increasing shopping demands of local residents in the days leading up to the Tet Festival.
This year’s event has attracted 150 domestic and foreign businesses, with over 320 exhibition stands. On display are consumer goods like food, cosmetics, electrical appliances, handicrafts, souvenir gifts, and items from traditional craft villages.

During the 7-day event, there is a trade exchange programme between businesses from Da Nang and Thailand’s Khon Kaen Province. Most notably, the city’s authorities held talks with their counterparts from Khon Kaen Province and signed a letter of intent to establish bilateral cooperative relations.
The fair also features entertainment activities for children, nightly musical and comedy performances, and an eating and drinking area for visitors.
