Some of Da Nang’s largest retailers are launching big discount promotions in order to stimulate sales in the days leading up to the Tet Festival.

Between 2 and 15 January, Metro is offering up to 49% discount on its over 2,000 food and non-food products.  This is the biggest discount ever offered by Metro, and it is being launched under the supermarket’s promotional programme called “Eager to welcome in the Spring – shopping for an abundance of Tet goods”.

In addition, as many as 4,000 major Tet products are now being sold off for up to 50% discount at Big C Mall from now until 30 January.

At Coop.Mart, up to 20% discount is being applied to 2,014 of the supermarket’s fresh food products, whilst up to 50% is being offered for 300 of its Tet decorative items.  In addition, 120 types of boxes of different shapes and materials, used for holding Tet jams, are now being discounted by between 21% and 35%.
