Asia Park to begin operations this year
On Thursday, at a meeting with the Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee, Mr Vo Duy Khuong, the General Director of Sun Group, Mr Dang Minh Truong, pledged that the 1st stage of the Asia Park project on the southeastern side of the 2 September Peace Monument would be put into operation this year. The park is expected to become a remarkable place for relaxation and recreation for both local residents and visitors.
Designed by world-renowned American architect Bill Bensley, the 88ha project is being implemented at a cost of about 4 trillion VND and, once completed, it is expected to welcome about 2.5 million visitors each year. The Asia Park will showcase replicas of famous architectural works and typical landscapes in 9 Asian countries. Most notably, numerous international standard rides along with a variety of entertainments will create exciting moments full of adventure and fun for visitors. In addition, there will be a multi-functional centre and a spacious parking area.

Sun Group will also continue to implement the 2nd stage of the Hoa Xuan Eco-urban area this year as well as the building of Hoang Van Thai extended road linking with the Ba Na Hills Resort and other projects. A new cable car system to carry passengers from the 2nd departure station to the Linh Ung Pagoda at the Ba Na Hills Resort will be put into use by 30 April of this year. In addition, Ba Na Hills Resort’s French Village will be opened in July.
