The Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman and Head of the Steering Board for the city’s “Year for Business 2014” programme, Mr Vo Duy Khuong, has recently asked the Department of Planning and Investment to complete action plans for the programme as soon as possible.  The Department was also urged to add some specific goals for the programme, and criteria for the selection of 100 outstanding enterprises every year.  The selection will be conducted by the Da Nang Newspaper.

In addition, the Department of Internal Affairs was asked to accelerate administrative reforms for businesses.  The Socio-economic Development Research Institute was selected to hold a seminar on improving competitive capacities for the 2014 Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI).  Its aim will be to evaluate and identify solutions to enable the city to improve its PCI.
