On Monday, Japan’s Nikken Sekkei Group entered into a cooperation agreement with the Duc Manh Corporation and the 579 Construction and Investment Company under the witness of the Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman, Mr Phung Tan Viet.

Under the agreement, participating businesses from Japan and Da Nang will cooperate in the city’s urban planning research, construction and real estate projects as well as appeal for more foreign investment into the city.

A focus will be on conducting surveys of local human resources in preparation for the operation of an industrial park for Japanese businesses and to develop supporting industries.  Covering an area of up to 100ha, the park will be built on the northwestern side of Hoa Vang District. 

Vice Chairman Viet spoke highly of the bilateral cooperative agreement between businesses from his city and Japan.  He vowed that the local authorities would make every effort to boost the bilateral cooperation.
