Land to be taken back if projects delayed
Da Nang’s authorities have approved regulations about land-use at local industrial parks (IPs) and local seaside tourism projects.
According to the regulations, the local authorities will create more favourable conditions for local businesses which have operated effectively at the local IPs and are in need of more land to expand their projects. Meanwhile, the city will also revoke leased land if the implementation of projects is delayed.

As for local businesses which are operating normally, the city will also take back their under-used or unused land. In addition, those who are asking permission from the local authorities to extend the implementation of their projects will be required to make commitments. By the end of this year, if their projects have not begun, their leased land will be revoked.
Seaside tourism project developers will also be asked to sign commitments to implement their projects on schedule. If by the end of the first quarter of 2015 the developers have not started their projects, they will have their land revoked.
