As part of the “Environmentally and Climate-friendly Urban Development in Da Nang” (ECUD) project, the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) recently handed over an optical microscope and an ion chromatography device to the management board of the ECUD project in the city.  The items are valued at nearly 1 billion VND and 900 million VND respectively.

The purpose is to help the board to effectively implement its emissions inventorying and environmental monitoring.

The ECUD project consists of 2 parts – environmental improvement and urban planning.

The project’s management board is making every effort to complete its report on the local environmental monitoring network and the detailed plans for the project as soon as possible in order to submit them to local authorities for approval.
