Vice Chairman Khuong inspects some local projects
On Thursday, the Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee, Mr Vo Duy Khuong, made an inspection visit to the construction site of the Hoang Van Thai extended road project in Hoa Vang District.
Developed by the Sun Group and the FPT City Da Nang Joint Stock Corporation, it is one of this year’s key local construction projects. The extended road is expected to be opened to traffic by 29 March 2015, and currently the project’s construction units are busy laying 9 kilometres of road surface along with drains.
On the same day, Vice Chairman Khuong also visited the construction site of a new urban area project whose developer is also the Sun Group. The area incorporates the second stage of the Hoa Xuan Eco-urban Area project and the Dong No eco-urban area in Cam Le District, along with a countryside culture park and riverside tourism complex in Ngu Hanh Son District’s Hoa Quy Ward. The developer is, however, now facing some difficulties in implementing site clearance. To resolve the problem, the leader of Sun Group is asking permission from the city’s authorities to deploy the Binh Ky resettlement area project in Hoa Quy Ward on the build-transfer (BT) basis. Meanwhile, the group-developed Asia Park project on the southeastern side of the 2 September Peace Monument is now underway at a cost of 4 trillion VND. The project’s observation wheel is expected to be put into use by July, and roller coasters, amusement rides and other entertainment services will be put into operation by the end of this year to complete the first stage of the project.
