City sees Chinese tourist arrivals recovery
Published: August 20, 2014
Since mid-July, Da Nang has seen a slight increase in the number of tourist arrivals to the city from China and other Chinese-speaking countries. In particular, the number of Chinese visitors is likely to have reached an estimated 15,080 by the end of this month, an increase of 26% compared with last month.
The positive result has been mainly attributed to the re-opening of flights between Da Nang and China’s Hangzhou, Beijing and Kunming cities.
Da Nang now has a total of 6 flight routes to the city from some of the major cities and provinces of China.
