The 2014 International East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC) Trade and Tourism Fair will take place from 15 - 20 August at the Da Nang International Exhibition Fair Centre on Cach Mang Thang Tam Street.  The city’s Trade Promotion Information Centre is making the preparations for the forthcoming event. 

200 domestic and foreign businesses, with 260 stands in total, have registered to attend this year.  Thirty of them are from Thailand, 10 are from Laos, whilst the remainder are domestic businesses.  In addition, the event will see the participation of the South African and the US embassies in Viet Nam, each with one stand, and 4 stands from the Malaysian Tourism Administration.

The annual EWEC Fair aims to strengthen the bilateral economic cooperation between localities in EWEC countries and other international partners, as well as promote bilateral exchange activities in trade, tourism and investment.
