According to the Da Nang Power Company, the power cuts which were required in some areas of the city between 7 and 12 August to allow the replacement of a 110kV busbar system and equipment at the city’s 500kV transformer station have now ended.

The busbar replacement was completed at 10.15am on Tuesday and, as a result, the local 500kV transformer station was able to resume operations 7 hours ahead of schedule.  This helped to shorten the planned power cut period in the city, and the work will improve the city’s power supply now and in the years ahead.
