Published: August 20, 2014

Over the first 6 months of this year, Da Nang has seen a significant decline in transactions in its real estate market according to a recent survey conducted by Savills Viet Nam, which is one of the leading real estate service providers in the country.

During the period, property sales in the city decreased by 5% compared with the same period last year, and local property prices dropped an average of 8%.  However, sales of apartments in the city showed positive signs with transactions made on 9% of their total, but this rate is lower than expected despite local apartments being priced at an average of only 26.1 million VND/m2.
