A specialised area selling fashion products has recently been piloted on a section of Le Duan Street between its intersections with Tran Phu and Ong Ich Khiem streets.  The section has 199 business establishments, shops, houses and schools, with  91 of them (46%) involved in selling fashion items.

The pilot project will cost a total of 20.19 billion VND.  Of the cost, 40% will be funded by the city’s budget whilst 30% will come from Hai Chau District’s budget, and the remainder will be donated by businesses and individuals along this specialised street.

Starting from the beginning of next year, the model will be expanded to other specialised areas in the city.
