The Da Nang-based Silver Shores Company has started Beijing-Da Nang direct flights on Thursdays and Sundays using planes chartered from China Eastern Airlines.

The first flight, carrying 172 passengers, departed from Beijing at 8.15pm local time on 21 September and landed at Da Nang International Airport at 11.40pm.  Amongst the plane’s passengers were 5 reporters from media agencies in Beijing who came to survey and experience the local attractions and tourism services in Da Nang, and in the central region as a whole.  The remaining passengers were visiting the city on holiday.
