Enterprises in Cam Le District in need of business premises
Currently, there are over 1,500 businesses operating in Da Nang’s Cam Le District, and the majority of them are small-sized enterprises each covering only a few hundred square metres of the district’s residential areas.
The businesses’ production activities have been adversely affected by the current rapid urbanisation in the city, and the site clearance work to implement the city’s urban development projects. Manufacturing establishments in local residential areas can create noise and harmful air effluents, which negatively affect the health and daily lives of the local residents. For this reason, the owners of these businesses have become aware of the need to relocate their production facilities far away from the residential areas to stabilise and expand their production.

In the past, some small-sized enterprises in the district, such as the Phuoc An Company for example, were pioneers in moving their facilities into remote areas bordering Lien Chieu District’s Hoa Minh Ward and Cam Le District’s Hoa An Ward. However, in 2008, the city authorities approved the 46ha Phuoc Ly Industrial Park project in the above-mentioned area. The project was developed by the Da Nang-Mien Trung Investment Joint Stock Company, with an initial focus on constructing the infrastructure for the industrial park. As a result, businesses like the Phuoc An Company are being affected by the project.
