Work starts on first project in Hi-tech Park
Work is under way at Da Nang’s Hi-tech Park on a 40 million USD electromagnetic switch valve manufacturing plant for the Tokyo Keiki Precision Technology Company, a subsidiary of Japan’s Tokyo Keiki Inc. This is the first project to have been started in the park.
Covering an area of 30,000m2, the project will be implemented in 3 stages. When the 1st stage is completed in April 2015, 50,000 small and 6,000 medium-sized electromagnetic switch valves will be manufactured every month on an area of 5,300m2. The plant will then start to produce impeller-type pumps and raise its production capacity. In the 2nd and 3rd stages, the focus will be on building more facilities for the plant.
To date, the city’s Hi-tech Park has attracted just 2 businesses, both from Japan.
