Deployment of some key construction projects discussed
On Tuesday, the Vice Chairpersons of the Da Nang People’s Committee, Mr Vo Duy Khuong and Mr Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, jointly chaired a meeting to discuss the implementation of some of this year’s key local projects. They included the Children’s Cultural Palace and the Phu Loc Wastewater Treatment Plant expansion project.
Developed by the municipal Youth Union, the Children’s Cultural Palace project will be built on an area of 33,335m2 in Hai Chau District’s Hoa Cuong Bac Ward at an estimated cost of 314 billion VND. The architectural design of the project will be created by South Korea’s JiNa Architects Co Ltd.
Vice Chairman Khuong asked the project’s developer and local relevant agencies to work with the project’s designers in order to make suitable adjustments to the architectural design to reduce the project’s cost to about 250 billion VND.

After the 85 billion VND 2nd stage is begun in 2017, 80,000m3 of wastewater will be treated per day.
