Programme to take Vietnamese goods to rural areas proves effect
To date, Da Nang has seen many positive results from its “Vietnamese People Give Priority to Using Vietnamese Goods” campaign, which was officially launched 6 years ago.
In particular, many local businesses have taken the initiative over recent years to take Vietnamese goods to rural areas in the communes of Hoa Lien, Hoa Phu, Hoa Bac, Hoa Nhon, and Hoa Tien in Hoa Vang District.
Last December, three sales programmes in local rural areas together helped the participating businesses to earn a total of over 360 million VND.

These sales programmes have helped local small and medium–sized enterprises to find more customers, seek new consumer markets, and advertise their products more effectively. In particular, the Nhat Nam Veston Company and the Dona Newtower Natural Drink and Food Joint Stock Company have won the trust of rural residents.
Apart from being involved in the sales programmes organised by the city’s Trade Promotion Centre, these two companies have also worked closely with the Hoa Vang District’s Commerce and Industry office to find suitable places for organising their sales.
Currently, retail markets in local rural areas are seeing an increasing demand as locals spend extra money on buying essential goods. As a result, authorities in the local communes are paying special attention to encouraging local businesses to bring their Vietnamese high-quality goods to their areas for sale.
