Spring Fair offers wide range of Tet goods
The 2015 Spring Fair is now on at the Da Nang International Exhibition Fair Centre at 9 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street and it will run until 8 February.
The 5-day event features the over 300 stalls of 170 businesses and traders from 18 cities and provinces nationwide, plus Laos and Thailand. The fair showcases a wide range of products for the Tet Festival. These include melon seeds, jams, confectionery, teas, wines, beers, beverages, lap xuong (Chinese sausages), fish sauces, incense, fashionable clothes, footwear, electrical and household appliances, handicrafts, telephones, blankets, pillows, and cushions.

Apart from the trading activities, there are a number of fascinating activities including a red-whiskered bulbul and white-eyes singing contest and a “Let’s Become the No 1 Salesperson” game show. In addition, visitors to the fair can enjoy nightly musical shows performed by famous domestic singers including Noo Phuoc Thinh, Dong Nhi, Ong Cao Thang, Hoang Ton, Khoi My, Khac Viet and Hari Won whose mother is South Korean and her father is Vietnamese.
Admission is free from 8.30am until 5.00pm, but tickets priced at 10,000 VND per person are required for entry after 5.00pm. Free admission is offered all day long for children under 6.
