Many of Da Nang’s supermarkets and retailers are offering a wide range of Tet gift baskets in these days leading up to the Tet Festival.  These gifts are traditionally bought to give to business partners, customers, relatives and friends.

The price of each basket depends on the quantity and quality of the items they contain, and they range in price from a few 100,000 VND to several million.

Most of the eye-catching baskets feature Vietnamese high-quality products of famous and popular domestic brand names.  They include Kinh Do Corporation, Hai Ha Confectionery Company, Trung Nguyen Group, Da Lat Red Wine, Thai Nguyen Tea, Xuan Hong Melon Seeds and Jams, Viet Nam Industrial Livestock Production Company and Khanh Hoa birds nest.

For those who prefer luxury gift baskets, they can select imported products such as shark fins, Western chocolates, raisins from the USA, and grape wine products from France, Australia and Poland.  These baskets are priced at between 5 million VND and 10 million VND each or even more.
