March CPI to increase by 0.63%
Da Nang’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) in March is likely to have risen by 0.63% compared with the same period last year. As a result, the city's average CPI between January and March will have have increased by 0.52% compared with the same period last year.
In March alone, the prices of 6 out of the 11 groups in the CPI calculations are expected to have increased significantly against February.
In particular, the highest increase during the month is predicted to be in household appliances and equipment, at 0.33%, followed by cultural, entertainment and tourism services at 0.24%.
The prices of garments, hats and footwear have climbed by 0.12%, medicine and healthcare services by 0.03%, education by 0.02%, whilst that of other goods and services has increased by 0.18%.

Transportation prices, however, are likely to have decreased by 0.19%, restaurant and food services by 0.16%, post and telecommunications by 0.07%, whilst those of houses, electricity, water and fuel have decreased by 0.06%.
Over this month, beverages and tobacco prices are expected to have remained unchanged.
