Holland America Line’s MS Volendam cruise ship, carrying 1,260 passengers from the UK, the USA, Canada, Australia and other countries, berthed at Da Nang’s Tien Sa Port on Thursday morning.

During their stay in Da Nang, over 850 of the passengers were taken on organised tours to some of the city’s popular attractions, along with Hoi An City and the My Son sanctuary in Quang Nam Province.  The remainder enjoyed self-discovery journeys around the city.

MS Volendam

Operated by the Destination Asia Vietnam tourism company, the MS Volendam has frequently docked at the Tien Sa Port in recent years.

This was the last visit by this ship during this year’s cruise ship season, but it will visit the city again in January 2016.
