About 300 State management cadres from departments, agencies and businesses in Da Nang attended a recent seminar to learn about the Association of South-East Asian Nations Economic Community (AEC).  The seminar was jointly organised by the municipal Department of Industry and Trade and the International Relations Department of the Office of the Government.

The AEC will be officially established on 31 December 2015, 5 years ahead of schedule.

It aims to establish a single common market and production base for the ASEAN member countries which would ensure free flows of goods, services, investment capital and skilled labour within the Southeast Asian region.  This will help to create a highly competitive economic region for the sake of the development of the region.
