Helicopter tour, which is one of the high-class tourism products, becomes popular in the USA, Nepal, Hong Kong, India and other countries worldwide.  Many foreign travel agencies have successfully developed this type of tourism.  Helicopter tours to Los Angeles (USA), the Banff National Park (Canada) or the Mount Everest (Nepal) have offered an opportunity for passengers on board to enjoy the amazing beauty of these places.

In an effort to develop helicopter tours in Da Nang, and the central region as a whole, the Da Nang branch of the Viet Nam Travel Mart Company will officially launch a tourism progarmme entitled “Discovering the Beauty of Da Nang at the height between 500 and 1,000m above Ground Level” this month.  The new service aims to celebrate the National Reunification Day (30 April), and it will help to develop more special new tourism products in the city.

A helicopter tour to enjoy bird’s-eye views of the amazing beauty of the city is expected to be offered at around 3 million VND per passenger.

A helicopter carrying 6 local tourism experts recently departed from the Nuoc Man helicopter base for the Son Tra Peninsula.  The flight aimed to conduct a survey on the efficiency of the new service, and it used a helicopter EC 130T2, whose overall excellent visibility, quietness and safety makes it a key member of Airbus Helicopters, Inc.’s AStar product line.

The passengers on board were deeply impressed by local beautiful works like the Linh Ung Pagoda and the Goddess of Mercy statue facing the sea being embedded in the immense grandeur and magnificence of the nature.  Meanwhile, local seaside streets look more beautiful with many luxury holiday resorts in harmony with their natural surroundings.  The Han River features beautiful bridges spanning it, whilst many high-rise buildings with impressive architectural designs are located along both banks of the river.

The Viet Nam Travel Mart Company recently signed a contract with the Viet Nam Helicopter Corporation to use its helicopters for its new programme, which has helped the Company to become a sole helicopter tour provider in the city.  Focus is on developing helicopter tours, promoting this new service, along with setting up systems for ticket sales and managing tour bookers.
