The Da Nang People’s Committee recently issued policies for supporting local software export businesses. 

These businesses will enjoy a 20% discount on rental fees for premises in the city’s Software Park for the first 3 years of operation, the hire of servers and the Metropolitan Area Network (MAN) computer network, data storage and network security services, and halls and meeting rooms in the park.  In addition, they will be given 30% off web hosting services.

Moreover, the local software export companies will be provided with a 30% reduction on training courses on software programming and Information Technology project management skills for their staff members.

The businesses will receive up to a maximum of 200 million VND each to cover the cost of consultancy services for the establishment of the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) above level 3, which is a process improvement training and appraisal programme.  Meanwhile, each of the centrally-run businesses operating in the city will be given a maximum of 20 million VND in aid.
