In response to the Earth Hour 2015, Da Nang saved over 25,000 kWh of electricity, 17% above last year's figure. 

This positive result has been attributed to the great efforts made by the Da Nang Electricity Company in publicising the campaign widely and effectively.  Earlier, the Company had distributed 40,000 leaflets as well as displayed over 2,000 banners on local streets to raise awareness of saving electricity amongst local residents and to encourage them to get actively involved in the event. 

By the end of this year, the city will aim at saving 32.9 million kWh of electricity.
