Da Nang is aiming to promote the development of financial consultancy services to become a financial and banking hub for the central region and highlands in the near future.  In order to reach the target, a focus will be on developing highly-skilled financial consultants in the city.

Grasping the need of local businesses for financial consultancy in the current context of global integration, the Dau Xuan Duc Company for Accounting and Financial Services was established in 2006.  The company offers consultancy services such as tax policies, accounting and business establishment.

After nearly 10 years of operation, the company has become a prestigious consultancy for domestic and foreign businesses who want advice about tax policies, accounting and audit services, and things which are allowed or not allowed by the city’s regulations.

The Director of the Da Nang Support and Development Centre for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), Mr Ly Dinh Quan, remarked that consultancy services would help local businesses to save time and find it easier to access procedures, policies and regulations regarding production and business activities, as well as allow them to access various types of credit other than bank loans.

Director Quan added that last year his centre assisted 2 local businesses to get loans worth 2.7 billion VND in total from the local Development and Investment Fund.  This year, his company plans to help other local businesses to receive a total of 10 billion VND in loans.

In early March, the 'Developing Financial Consultancy Services in Da Nang towards 2020' project was approved by the municipal People’s Committee.  Special attention will be paid to increasing the number of financial consultancy service providers and improving the quality of their services to satisfy the increasing demands of local businesses and organisations.
