State's budget management agencies and businesses to be audited
A meeting took place in Da Nang on Monday to announce plans for audit activities in the city in order to implement a project for restructuring State-owned enterprises, with a focus on large economic groups and corporations in the 2011 - 2015 period.
Importance will be attached to auditing 20 local state agencies and businesses within the 55 days before the 13th session of the municipal People Council for the 2011 - 2016 term starts in July. They will include the municipal departments of Finance, Taxation, Customs, and Planning and Investment, the city’s branch of the State Treasury, and the management boards of local construction, traffic improvement, rural development and build-transfer (BT) projects, along with State-owned businesses, especially equitised enterprises.
Special heed will also be paid to the auditing costs of local development projects, calculating the State’s budget collections and spending, and inspecting the exemption, reduction and refund of value added tax.
