On Wednesday, the Club of Authorities of Industrial Parks, Export Processing Zones, Economic Zones and Hi-tech Parks in the Southern Region held a briefing meeting in Da Nang.

Participants discussed various ways to raise the awareness of state agencies and authorities at all levels of the vital role of the mentioned-above zones in boosting the progress of their localities.  This will help to ensure that the management boards of the zones will play an important role in streamlining administrative procedures and enhancing the State management of these zones.

In particular, importance will be attached to organising more periodic online and direct meetings between relevant management agencies and businesses in their localities.  The aim is to help these agencies remedy any shortcomings in their operations as well as to find ways to help businesses deal with their problems and overcome their difficulties.

Special heed will be also paid to stepping up administrative reform, with a focus on relevant procedures, as well as creating cooperation models between support industries and services, and production projects in economic zones from inside and outside their localities.  

In addition, links between business associations in their localities will be strengthened in order to encourage local businesses to develop their production activities and expand their consumer markets.
